Since fall is here, we read a book titled "Fall Leaves" at the Maben Public Library on Friday.
We talked about how the leaves change colors and about the chlorophyll leaving, causing them to be different colors.
There are a lot of fun things to do when the weather is cooler and the leaves start falling off the trees. Kids like to rake leaves and then run and play in them. The squirrels gather nuts to have food for the winter.
We also did rhyming words, matched animals with their description and found hidden squirrels. The children had fun making leaf rubbings with crayons and gluing a leaf picture with all the different color leaves.
Friday we had Stella and Skyler Smith, Legend Allen, Ila Ann Miles, Miller, Maverick and Magnolia Turner, Reese Phelps, and Harley Beth Roper, Ian, Elisheva and Seth Barrett
