If you are a writer wanting to move forward in your writing journey and connect with fellow writers, the Choctaw County Library has an opportunity for you.
Writers of all genres and skill levels are invited to a Writing Group on the second Thursday of each month at the Ackerman Library Branch.
Each meeting will have a critique & feedback time and a workshop time to help members move forward with their writing goals.
Whether you have a book in your head and are wondering how to get it onto paper, or you have a book in your hands and are wondering how to share it with others, this group is for you. Get valuable feedback on that chapter you just wrote, find out your next step, or enjoy brainstorming and connecting with other writers.
Local author Erin Ulerich will be leading the writing group. Erin has a passion for writing and for encouraging other writers. Erin has been published in Scouting magazine, Historicool, a history magazine for children, as well as several regional parenting magazines. She has also published two devotional books and is currently working on a YA fantasy novel.
One of Erin’s favorite quotes is “It's time to live as though we believe we have something to offer.” (Emily P. Freeman, A Million Little Ways)
The Writing Group will meet on April 11 from 6-7:30 at the Choctaw County Library, and then monthly thereafter.
