The Winston County Library will conduct Basic Computer Classes on the first and third Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. This is made possible due to the recent donation of eight laptops and software from Polo Custom Products. Call 662-773-3212 for more information!

Jehovah’s Witnesses March events
March 16-17
A special Bible talk will be held at Kingdom Halls in Louisville. This is a 30-minute discussion titled “The Resurrection—Victory Over Death!” The public is invited to attend.
March 24
There will be a 1-hour event held at Kingdom Halls in Louisville for the memorial of Jesus’ death. The public is invited to attend the annual observance of the Lord’s evening meal. For more information about the 2024 Memorial and special talk and how to attend, please visit jw.org.
Union Chapel M.B. Spring Revival
March 17-19
Union Chapel M.B. Church will host their Annual Spring Revival. The guest speaker will be Rev. Adrian Kollock, Sr., Pastor of the Jehovah A.M.E. Church in Cross, South Carolina. On March 17th, service will begin at 6:00 p.m. and the following nights at 7:00 p.m.
Historic Salem School fundraiser
April 6
The Historic Salem School will hold a fundraiser for restoration of the school. A yard sale will be held on April 6 starting at 7:00 am at the Historic Salem School, 43081 Highway 14 W, Macon. Sale items include electric dryer, cabinet, antiques, tools, linens, furniture, and Christmas decorations. For more information call 662-361-8346.
Project Prom Giveaway
March 16
Elizabeth Bruckner Ministries, Covenant Ministries, Inc. will hold Project Prom, a prom dress giveaway on Saturday, March 16 at Louisville High School from 8 a.m. until noon. Middle School students will be from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. and High School students will be from 10 a.m. until noon. Dresses are free to those who come.
Picnic in the Park
March 15-16
Great Divine Productions will hold Picnic in the Park at Ivy Park on March 15 from 10:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., lunch will be served at noon and March 16 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., with lunch being served at 1 p.m., as a way to give back to the community. Special guests will be the Winston County Sheriff's Department, Sheriff Mike Perkins, Constable Ed Hunt, Fire Chief Robert Hutto and many more. Children without supervision must be between the ages of 5 through 11.
Bulldogs Bake Sale
March 30
The Winston Bulldogs will host a bake sale on Saturday, March 30, at 9 AM. The bake sale will be outside Vowell’s Marketplace in Louisville. All proceeds go to the Winston County Bulldogs, which is a fee-free youth league team.

Lunches served to the first 24 participants provided by Friends of the Library. Steve’s new book is When The Bottom Falls. Addiction comes in many forms. Lives are Forever changed. Steve Robertson faced jail, institutions and near death over 30 years Ago. After a stretch in rehab and the Mississippi State Penitentiary, Steve picked up The pieces and began a new life.

Meetings
The City of Louisville will meet at city hall every first and third Tuesday of the month.
The Town of Noxapater will meet every first Tuesday of the month.
The Winston County Board of Supervisors will meet at the Winston County Courthouse every first Monday of the month. The board voted to change their meetings to once a month.
The Louisville Municipal School District meets every second Monday of the month.
The Winston County Youth and College Chapter NAACP meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at 6 p.m. at Triumphant Word Center, 18289 E. John C. Stennis Drive (Highway 397).
