Cumberland Baptist Church will have Old-Fashioned Sunday on April 21 featuring One Way Quartet.
Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. with worship at 11 a.m. Dinner on the ground will follow the worship service with gospel singing at 1:30 p.m. The congregation invites everyone to join them.
Spring cleanup days in Mathiston

Spring cleanup days in the town of Mathiston are underway through April 22.
A large garbage container is located on the corner of Scott Avenue and Highway 15. Large items, brush and other household rubbish can be placed there to help in one’s spring cleaning. No paint or other hazardous items are allowed.

4-H Lego Club

The 4-H Lego Club will meet at 4:30 p.m. April 25 in the conference room of the Webster County Extension Office.
Benefit for misson trip to Alaska
April 27
Kristen Rogers Holifield will be going on a monthlong mission trip this summer to Alaska. She will be ministering to some of the most unchurched teens in America.
A benefit/fundraiser (gospel singing, concessions and auction) to help with expenses will be April 27 starting at 4 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church. The church is located at 541 Lower Bethlehem Road off Lower Milligan Springs Road, Winona.
Gospel singers will include Michelle Kendall from Coffeeville, Resolve Quartet from Laurel, Gil Magee from Tylertown, the Murphys from Louisville and Phillip McCullar, “The Gospel Traveler.”

Memorial at Providence Baptist Church will be April 28 in Choctaw County. The speaker will be Randy Poss, son of the church’s longtime pastor, Bro. Randle Poss. Special music will be provided by Nicole Oswalt.
Service will begin at 10:30 Sunday morning. “Bring lunch and spread with us in our family life center as we worship the Lord and fellowship together.”

The George Bell and Sally Mayfield Cooper 2024 reunion and the Samuel E. and Lettie Long Hames/Haimes 2024 reunion will be held at noon May 25 at the residence of Vic and Lisa Lindsey, 125 Haimes Road, Sturgis.
