Community Easter Egg Hunt
March 30
The Community Easter Egg Hunt will be at 10 a.m. March 30 at Gary Park (if raining, Civic Center).
This is a free event with an egg hunt, face painting, Easter Bunny and jumpers. It is sponsored by the Eupora New Century Club and Eupora Juniorettes.
March for Jesus
March 30
Highways and Hedge Worship Center will sponsor a March for Jesus on March 30. The march will begin at 10 a.m. starting at the Eupora Depot. The church invites everyone to participate.
FBC Eupora Easter cantata, services
March 24, 29, 31
First Baptist Church of Eupora’s sanctuary choir and orchestra will present its Easter cantata “Empty Grave,” at 5 p.m. March 24.
FBC Eupora will have a Good Friday service at noon March 29 at The Cross of Christ.
On Easter Sunday, March 31, the church will have an early service at 7 a.m. followed by breakfast in the family life center. Sunday School will be at 9:30 a.m. and morning worship at 10:30 a.m.
Men’s Conference
April 6
A Men’s Conference will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 6 at Highways and Hedges Worship Center. The church is located at 14501 MS Highway 9, Eupora.
Eupora Crawfish Cook-Off
April 13
Eupora Economic Development and the Eupora Rotary Club will present the second Eupora Crawfish Cook-Off from 6-10 p.m. April 13 at the Eupora Civic Center. Proceeds from the fundraiser are reinvested in the community through both nonprofit organizations.
The event will include unlimited crawfish tastings, team-cooked fixings, two beverages/beer tickets, live music featuring The Garrett Oswalt Band and a bouncy house. The public will vote for the best cooked-crawfish team.
Presale tickets are $30 for adults and $10 for children (ages 5-12); at-door tickets are $40 for adults and $10 for children. General admission without crawfish is $15, which includes event and concert entry; other food available for additional purchase. Purchase tickets online at www.euporaed.com/purchase-tickets.
SWCD Youth Camp, scholarship applications
Due May 1
Webster County Soil and Water Conservation District is taking applications for the Mississippi SWCD District Youth Camp and $5,000 scholarship.
High school students ninth-12th grade may participate. The registration fee is sponsored by the Webster County SWCD and the camp will be held June 2-6 at the FFA Center in Raymond. Campers will acquire hands-on knowledge of Mississippi’s soils, wildlife, agriculture and forest resources through outdoor settings and tours.
Applications may be picked up at the Webster County SWCD office, 1381 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Eupora; 662-258-2357 Ext. 3. Registration and scholarship applications are due May 1.
EHS Class of 1964 get-together
May 10
Eupora High School Class of 1964 will have its 60th annual get-together for lunch at Mitchell’s at 11 a.m. May 10.
Classmates/spouses are invited to join the group to reminisce of days at EHS.

Webster County Public Library in Eupora is open four days each week to take care of many of your needs, such as sending and receiving faxes, copying, computer use, as well checking out the latest books for your reading pleasure. Storytime for PreK children is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Anita Russell
Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday and noon- 6 p.m. Thursday.
