The junior and senior class of 2024 was the first early preschool and preschool graduating class in 2011 at V’s Peace, Love and Happy Faces.
The early education center wants to give back to the communities that have supported it, and celebrate and remember the life of the late Jackie Worman McMullan, a great early educator who was once on the staff at V’s.
The center will do so by awarding a minimum of $1,200 in scholarships to eligible seniors who have attended V’s Peace, Love and Happy Faces. The deadline to apply is May 10.
Scholarship requirements:
• Graduating senior who has completed one year of attendance at V’s Peace, Love and Happy Faces
• A two-page, double-spaced, typed essay about how your early education has helped or about an early educator who has influenced you.
• Essays must be mailed in or dropped off at V’s Peace, Love and Happy Faces, 1241 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Eupora, or emailed to veronicalynntaylor@gmail.com.
• Include your name, address, telephone number, high school and future education Institution.
The scholarship is available for junior college, college and trade school programs.
