Louisville youth and Grace Christian School students, Julius and Robert Culwell, spent the last year juggling their time between school and competing at horse shows. Their dedication to the sport of horse showing paid off as this month the brothers will be honored at the Pinto Horse Association of America (PtHA) 2022 National Convention during the awards banquet. The convention will take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma March 3rd through the 5th, and along with the awards banquet, the boys will be expected to attend the youth meetings as Julius is the Youth Treasurer and Robert is a Youth National Director for PtHA Youth Organization (PtHAYO). During the awards banquet, Julius will get recognized for his Top Ten rankings showing his two PtHA horses, Hollywood NV ME and Famous N Fancy, in the Solid PtHA Open Division in Barrel Races, Pole Bending, Ranch Conformation, Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, and Stake Races. In addition, he will be recognized for his Top Ten placings in the Western High Point Solid PtHA Youth Division placing 6th overall riding Hollywood NV ME and 8th overall riding Famous N Fancy. Robert will also be acknowledged at the banquet for his Top Ten rankings riding his PtHA horse How D My Valentine in the Solid PtHA Open Division in Barrel Races, Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail, Ranch Rail Pleasure, and Stake Races. Finally, during the banquet awards will be given out for yearend placings for the Southeast region in which both brothers will be recognized for their Top Ten ranking in PtHA youth competition with Julius placing 4th and Robert 5th for Zone 6 (Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee).
