The Noxapater Community Chamber Alliance ushered in the holiday cheer with a spirited Christmas Carol Night held on December 2 at 6 p.m. The event drew a lively crowd from across the county, marking a celebration of the season.
Embracing the theme of "It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas," the night showcased a diverse array of performances. From solo renditions to group performances, the evening was a testament to the community's festive fun.
The lineup featured a mix of local talents and community groups, each adding their own sparkle to the event. Hanna McCain sang her rendition of "I Just Knew," while Destiny Ashford captured hearts with a soulful performance of "Mary Did You Know."
The Wells Quartet gave their rendition of "I Have Seen the Light,". John Carter from Philadelphia as one of the talent show winners gave a performance of "Christmas in Dixie."
Rebecca Yates from Liberty Baptist Church sang for the audience "O Come All Ye Faithful."
Jodie Griffin and Audrey Chappell performed "The Angels Cried."
Laurie Byrd from Louisville, another talent show winner, sang “Take a Walk Through Bethlehem." The Harmony Baptist Church Choir performed "Mary Did You Know" and "Noel."
The festive spirit continued as the Noxapater Pentecostal Church performed "Jingle Bells" and "O Come All Ye Faithful." The Noxapater Baptist Praise Team performed "Christmas Offering.”
Bringing the evening to a close, the community came together for a rendition of "Silent Night", 12 days of Christmas” and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas."
Chasity Wells, of the Noxapater Community Chamber Alliance expressed gratitude to all the participants, volunteers, and attendees who made the Christmas Carol Night a resounding success.
