The North Mississippi Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program recently welcomed eight new residents, including Daulton Newman, M.D., of Eupora.
“The family medicine residency training program emphasizes quality medical education through traditional medical and surgical rotations,” said Dennis Smith, D.O., director of the NMMC Family Medicine Residency Program. “The program’s quality is also enhanced by a broad-based curriculum in family medicine in the NMMC Family Medicine Residency Center and in rural rotations throughout the north Mississippi and west Alabama.”
Dr. Newman received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and his medical degree from University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson.
He is the son of Mark and Charlotte Newman of Eupora.
