The Taylor Engineering Design Team is excited to announce its new engineers and to celebrate their contributions since joining the department this year.
Jack Mitchener joined the Engineering team earlier this year after graduating from Mississippi State University in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He is also pursuing a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. Jack presently resides in West Point, his hometown. Jack is an Eagle Scout. He enjoys hunting, reading, golf, scuba diving, and attending Mississippi State University football games.
Jack is in the Front-End and Attachments group under the supervision of Todd Palmer, Group Leader. Jack also provides support in structural analysis and truck stability.
Ben Robertson also joined the Engineering team earlier in the year after graduating from Mississippi State University in December with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Ben grew up in Laurel, and currently lives in Starkville, with his wife, Bridgett, of two years. His hobbies include camping, running, and kayaking. He and Bridgett attend Emmanuel Baptist Church in Starkville.
Ben works as a Design Engineer under Scott Stokes, Group Leader in the Chassis Group.
