According to Louisville Police Investigator, Mike Perkins, the department has had quite a few leads on missing 16-year-old, Montevious Goss. Perkins stated, "Louisville Police Dept. is exploring every avenue to locate him," but so far none of the leads have panned out.
Goss was last seen on Wednesday morning, January 11, getting into a green Dodge pickup truck, on Pearl Avenue. Goss was reported missing on the evening of Thursday, January 12, by his aunt and her boyfriend, with whom Goss lives on Pearl Avenue, in Louisville.
The boyfriend stated that he saw Goss sitting on a cooler, on the porch of their home, on the morning of January 11, and he assumed that he was waiting for the school bus.
However, Goss did not get on the school bus, and he never arrived at school.
Winston County Crimestoppers and another community member, Chris Hampton, are offering two separate rewards on any information that may lead to the whereabouts of Montevious Goss.
The reward will be paid if criminal activity is the cause of Goss’s disappearance. Tips provided to Winston County Crimestoppers will be kept confidential.
Louisville Police Chief Sean Holdiness said the department is working with state agencies to locate Goss and are interviewing people daily.
