Eupora native Sarah Grace Ware spent the week of July 1-9 in Washington, D.C., competing for the 2023 World Our Little Miss title.
Ware competed against 26 other contestants in the 7-9 age group from California, Delaware, Nevada, Texas, Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North and South Dakota, North and South Carolina, Arkansas, Tennessee, New York, Wyoming, Nebraska, Montana, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
They all competed in interview, Team OLM, casual wear, beauty dress, on-stage question and talent. All which took place at the Hyatt Regency of Washington.
After competing in all preliminary events, a top 16 was called, including Ware. After 16, the group was then narrowed down to the top eight, Ware included. The top eight then recompeted their talent portion of the competition to determine the top four, which would take home the four top world titles.
Ware competed a vocal performance of LeAnn Rimes’ “Blue.” Ware was named 2023 World’s Official Talent Winner (fourth place overall). She was the highest ranked 7-9 age division from Mississippi.
