The National Council of Negro Women (Kosciusko / Attala County Section) will host a Juneteenth Freedom Day Celebration on June 17, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Oprah Winfrey Boys and Girls Club, 500 Knox Road Kosciusko.
This celebration is a public program for the entire family. Information will be shared about the event, the experience, and the journey. There will be free food, games, vendors, and a political rally.
The Political Rally will begin at 10:30 am. All candidates (State-wide and local) are invited to attend. Candidates may preregister by sending an email to rhonuzeta.president@gmail.com. Please include your name and office you are seeking.
The public is invited to join us as we spend the day in Reflection of how far we have come and how far we still need to go.
