MABEN The Maben Home and Garden Club has chosen the lovely home and spacious grounds of Andy and Kathy Johnson to receive the Yard of the Month for March 2022.
Inclement weather of snow, ice and rain delayed the photography of the grounds, but suffice it to say that the plantings are plentiful and professionally maintained.
The Garden Club is proud to honor the Johnsons’ efforts to keep their home and acreage well-manicured, just as they do with their place of business in downtown Maben.
The Johnsons rescued the old Citizens (Cadence) Bank building and remodeled it to house their two businesses: FJH Inc. land and timber buyers, and FJH Realty.
Andy, Kathy and their children work hard to support and promote Maben, maintain plantings at their home and business, and help take care of the two boxes of plants on the sidewalk in front of their building.
