Greetings to everyone. I want to encourage everyone to keep holding on. The Lord has promised never to leave us or forsake us. We are not alone. I know we are living in perilous times; we see it all around us every day. But our hope and trust is in the Lord Jesus Christ. Proverbs 16:32 says, “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.” There’s no self-control anymore; everybody does what they want to do whether it’s right or not. A good example of no self-control is found in 2 Timothy 3 beginning with the first verse: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. “For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, “Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, “Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” Friends, doesn’t that sound like the day we are living in? I have never seen so many that don’t have respect for the things of God. We have so many now that are saying that what the Bible calls sin is alright. I want you to know that if the Bible says it is sin, then that’s what it means. God does not change. Hebrews 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” The Ten Commandments are still in force today whether men believe it or not. God will not change his word for me or anyone else. The word of God is the same for all men and women. Praise the Lord! So keep holding on to the truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life (John 14:8).” As the old hymn goes, “There’s no other way, but trust and obey.”
