This week is a busy week in Winston County as three more schools hold commencement services.
Graduation for Nanih Waiya Attendance Center was held Tuesday evening. The ceremony for Noxapater Attendance Center followed with their graduation being held on Thursday evening.
Lastly, the Louisville High School graduation will commence at the R.E. Hinze Stadium tonight.
As the Louisville Municipal School District ushers their graduates into the real world, the 42nd annual Red Hills Festival kicks off Friday in downtown Louisville.
The festivities begin with the Friday Night Street Party. Local talent Jodie Ross takes the stage at 7:00 pm and The Dukes of Country begin at 8:00 pm. Market Cafe will be serving special drinks and eats for the Street Party and will serve, both inside and outside. The carnival will be set up and ready for a fun night so be sure and get your armband!
The 42nd Annual Red Hills Festival is shaping up to be one of our biggest ever! Main Street will be full of vendors with jewelry, pottery, candles, clothing, woodwork, paintings and much, much more.
The 5K Run/Walk begins at 7:00 am in front of the Dome and the Fun Run begins at 8:00 am. The car show will be on North Columbus Avenue in front of Taylor's Tool and Supply with a variety of antique cars and trucks!
Music will begin on the Main Stage around 10:30 am Saturday featuring Jodie Ross, Mark & Fernando, Brian Ballou and Cole Hill.
A new addition to the festival is the Political Corner. Local candidates will be available for you to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. Be sure to stop by and introduce yourself.
