It’s just around the corner — have you made your plans to attend the Decade of the ’70s and ’80s Reunion to be held Oct. 14 at the historic Eupora High School?
Much excitement is in the air about this event, and it looks to be one of the biggest events of the year. A crowd of 600-700 people is expected to attend this event.
Several classes still need volunteer coordinators — some have said they will help but have not stepped up to get going. If you are in one of these class years and would be willing to help, please join us for our final planning meeting to be held at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 23 in the Alumni Room.
Classes needing volunteers are 1970, 1972, 1975, 1977, 1982 and 1985. These classes will be recognized with or without coordinators but may not have a tent set up for gathering if we can’t find a volunteer. If you would help with one of these classes, please e-mail me at casciojudy11@gmail.com.
Please plan to attend our final planning meeting on Sept. 23 at 10:30 a.m.
It's not too late to get a banner for your class. The cost is $39.99 plus tax. If you are interested in purchasing one for your class, contact Judy Gibson Duncan at Pollan’s Promotions in Starkville. The phone number is 662-320-9901.
Food trucks will be set up to provide food. Soft drinks and bottled water will also be available. Those attending are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. The building will be open for tours and reminiscing.
A committee is working to set up a block party for Saturday night. More details on this will be published as they become available.
