The Cross of Christ Five-Year Celebration will commemorate the raising of the Choctaw, Webster and surrounding areas’ roadside cross that honors our Lord and Savior.
The celebration will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Sunday, June 9, at the cross site, which is the intersection of highways 82 and 9 in Eupora. All are invited to attend and join in glorifying Christ and his redeeming blood.
Brother Mike Rozier, our featured speaker, has constructed and raised 14 towering crosses in Mississippi with an additional six planned. Also, he has built six crosses out of state. Not only is Rozier a leader in construction in Mississippi and the South but he is a man of God who walks daily with the Lord.
Please bring your church buses or come in cars. Parking will be available and directed by leadership volunteers.
If you or your children would like to sing in the choir, come early the evening of the celebration; adult practice at 4 p.m. and children’s practice at 4:30 p.m. The titles of the familiar songs that will be sung by the choirs will be provided to each church weeks before the celebration date.
