Josh Whitlock, chair of the Rotary Club’s Christmas Parade Committee, has announced the date for the annual Eupora Christmas Parade.
This year’s parade will be Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. The theme for the parade is “Toyland Christmas.”
Glen Earnest will serve as grand marshal. He has provided handmade toys/wooden crafts for local Vacation Bible Schools and Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for many years. During last year’s Sip and Shop event, shoppers who made donations to the Eupora Fire Department could take a handmade gift by Earnest.
There is no entry fee, but all entries must complete a parade registration form by 5 p.m. Dec. 1 to participate. First place will receive $200; second place, $100; and third place, $50.
