Jan. 27 was our last day to study snow at the Maben Public Library. We read "There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow."
We made snow, painted our names, went ice fishing for letters and played with shaving cream. Our craft was a picture of the cold lady, and the children colored, cut, and glued the order in which she swallowed the things used to make a snowman.
So even if it doesn't snow, we have experienced some of the fun things to do in snow. And if it does snow, we will know how to build a snowman, have snowball fights, snow sledding, drink hot chocolate and ice fish. But most of all, we have spent time learning to write our names.
Last Friday we had Tyler Kay Bates, Magnolia, Miller and Maverick Turner, Bentley Flora and Barrett Willers.
Come join us each Friday at 10 a.m. for Storytime and crafts!
