Notice is hereby given pursuant to the Mississippi Code that the circuit clerk and officials in charge of elections will run a test at the Webster County Courthouse, 6333 MS Hwy. 9, Walthall, beginning at 8:30 a.m. May 25-26 to ascertain that the AccuVote TSX units will count the votes cast for all offices and on all measures.
The test will be conducted by testing the 39 DRE units to be used in the June 7 primaries. All memory cards to be used will be tested. This test will be conducted until all units have been tested.
Representatives of candidates, political parties, news media and the public are invited and shall be permitted to observe such tests.
‘Nights of Hope’
revival May 27-28
Calvary Chapel will present “Nights of Hope” revival at 6 p.m. May 27 and 28 in the Garan parking lot.
The revival will include worship, prayer, testimonies and the Gospel message.
Saturday in-office
absentee voting
Saturday in-office absentee voting will be from 8 a.m.-noon May 28 at the Circuit Clerk’s Office in the Webster County Courthouse, Walthall.
This is the last day to vote in-office for the June 7 primaries.

Memorial Day
Military Ruck March
Area veterans are advised that a Memorial Day Military Ruck March will be May 30.
Rally point will be at 6:30 a.m. at the veterans memorial monument at the Eupora Post Office, 107 N. Dunn St. Step off/start point time is 7 a.m. Destination is the veterans memorial in Mathiston at City Hall, 41 Mathis Drive.
Individuals will conduct a 9-mile ruck march that will take an estimated time of two hours and 55 minutes to meet up with fellow veterans to conduct a Memorial Day remembrance.
Veterans, active duty and family members of veterans or active duty that can’t attend are all welcome to join in the ruck march. Following in a vehicle waving the American flag or branch of service is also welcomed.

DNOW at Center
Grove Baptist
DNOW at Center Grove Baptist Church in Maben will be June 3-4 (Friday night and Saturday morning). There is no cost to participate in this time of worship and study for youth/college students.
The theme is “In Christ Alone.” The speaker will be Joseph Ingram from Winston County and the worship leader will be Blake Bostick from DeSoto County.

Hebron memorial
The annual memorial will be held at Hebron Baptist Church in Webster County on June 5.
A cemetery meeting will be at 10:45 a.m. The memorial message will be given by Scott McBride, pastor at Hebron, and a covered-dish lunch will be served following the message.
Maben Public
Library hours
The Maben Public Library’s regular hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and noon-4:30 p.m.
AA meetings

The next regular meeting of the Webster County School Board is at 6 p.m. June 13 in the boardroom at the Central Office in Eupora.
The Webster County Board of Supervisors meets at 8:30 a.m. every first Monday, third Monday and last working day of the month at the courthouse in Walthall.
The Eupora Board of Aldermen meets at 6 p.m. every first Monday at Eupora City Hall.
The Maben Board of Aldermen meets at 5:30 p.m. every first Tuesday at Maben Town Hall.
The Mantee Board of Aldermen meets at 6 p.m. every first Monday at Mantee Village Hall.
The Mathiston Board of Aldermen meets at 6 p.m. every first Monday at Mathiston Town Hall.
