Showcase Thursday
Spring Art Showcase will be from 5-7 p.m. May 12 at East Webster Elementary School.
Admission is $1 per person; donations are appreciated. All proceeds go toward the purchase of more art supplies for the 2022-23 school year.
Mathiston Mulberry
Festival Saturday
This year's Mathiston Mulberry Festival will be May 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A Pet Parade starts at 10 a.m.; $10 entrance fee and must be on a leash.

EHS Alumni Room
open house
The Eupora High School Alumni Association board of directors will host open house at the EHS Alumni Room from 2-4 p.m. May 14.
The Alumni Room, which is full of memorabilia from the 1940s to 2000, is located in the historic high school building (Central Office building). Former students, teachers, staff, coaches, faculty members and friends who have provided donations may browse the room and view all that has been donated.
Enter through the east entrance to the building next to the auditorium entrance — the Alumni Room is the second door on the right opposite the auditorium.
Gospel Music
Jubilee Saturday
The monthly Gospel Music Jubilee at the Gore Springs Community Center will be at 6 p.m. May 14 featuring New Genesis and Servant Heart Quartet. Admission is $5.
North Union
Cemetery Memorial
The North Union Cemetery Memorial will be May 15 at 11 a.m. The board meeting will be held at the tabernacle at 10:45.
If you are unable to attend and would like to make a memorial donation, which is tax deductible, please send the donation to Treasurer Allen Pepper, 2414 Douglas McArthur Drive, Starkville, MS 39759. Bellefontaine United Methodist Church will be in charge of the service.

Memorial service at Old Cumberland will be May 15 beginning at 11 a.m. Bro. James Mason will be the speaker.
Mt. Vernon memorial
Memorial services at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church will be at 11 a.m. May 15. Pastor Don Vaughan will bring the message, and Jo Faulkenbery will lead and provide special music. A fellowship meal will follow.
Wood Springs

The annual memorial service at Wood Springs Baptist Church in Choctaw County will be May 15 at 11 a.m. with Bro. John Gentry as the speaker. A covered-dish lunch will be served after the service.
Mt. Moriah memorial
Mt. Moriah Methodist Church in the Ticky Bend community will have its memorial service on May 15. Roger Miller will deliver a brief message at 11 a.m.
All are invited to attend and honor past loved ones and see recent renovations to the cemetery and church.
Bluegrass gospel

A bluegrass gospel singing will be at 6 p.m. May 15 at French Camp Baptist Church, 112 Le Fleur Circle, featuring Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers. For more information call 662-617-3744.

Pet parade benefits
Go Green for Eupora
Go Green for Eupora will be hosting an exciting event to help celebrate National Pet Month, and wants everyone to be a part of the fun.
A pet parade will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. May 21. It will be located at the NMMC-Eupora walking track. To enter your pet, you must pay an entry fee of $15 per pet.
There will be food trucks, face painting, games and more. All proceeds from this event will go to Go Green for Eupora.
Any pets entered into the parade must provide proof of vaccination, while everyone will sign a liability waiver. Vendor spots are available. For questions, please email gogreenforeupora@gmail.com.

‘Nights of Hope’
revival May 27-28
Calvary Chapel will present “Nights of Hope” revival at 6 p.m. May 27 and 28 in the Garan parking lot.
The revival will include worship, prayer, testimonies and the Gospel message.

The Maben Public Library’s regular hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and noon-4:30 p.m.
