Woman to Woman
Conference May 7
Eupora Main Street Association will host a Woman to Woman Conference from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. May 7 at the Eupora Civic Center.
Enjoy a keynote address from Eupora native and best-selling author Dale Smith Thomas. Breakout speakers will be Kitty Dumas, Mandy Gladney Conrad and Traci Rico Holloway. The conference will feature shopping, health screenings, door prizes, refreshments and more.

LaGrange memorial will be May 8 beginning at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Nathan Phillips, pastor, speaking. Copies of the cookbook “Memories of LaGrange” will be available for purchase for $15. Lunch will follow.

Shady Grove Methodist Church located on County Line Road in Webster County will hold the annual memorial at 11 a.m. May 8. The message will be given by Bro. Scott McBride, pastor of Hebron Baptist Church. A covered-dish lunch will follow the message.
Prairie Opportunity

Prairie Opportunity Inc Community Action Agency will conduct a public hearing at 10 a.m. May 9 at Whites Creek Lake Park, located at 200-2002 Whites Creek Lake Road, Eupora.
This meeting is to inform the public of proposed funding and discuss the services offered by Prairie Opportunity Inc. Door prizes will be available and refreshments will be served.
EES, EWES Spring
Art Showcases
Spring Art Showcase will be May 10 at Eupora Elementary School and May 12 at East Webster Elementary School, both from 5-7 p.m.
Admission is $1 per person; donations are appreciated. All proceeds go toward the purchase of more art supplies for the 2022-23 school year.
Mathiston Mulberry
Festival May 14
This year's Mathiston Mulberry Festival will be May 14 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A Pet Parade starts at 10 a.m.; $10 entrance fee and must be on a leash.

The North Union Cemetery Memorial will be May 15 at 11 a.m. The board meeting will be held at the tabernacle at 10:45.

The Maben Public Library’s regular hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and noon-4:30 p.m.
