Gospel singing
in Sherwood
A gospel singing will be from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. March 26 at the Sherwood Community Center 4 miles south of Mathiston on Hwy. 15.
Singing will be Dawn Trout (formerly of New Destiny), the Blazers, Family Tradition, David McMillen, Michael Browning, Voices of Faith, the Gospel Traveler, Heavenly Journey, Anchored, Because of Christ, Two for God, Joy Card and others.

NTEPA schedules
planned outage
Natchez Trace Electric Power Association has a planned outage scheduled for April 2 starting at midnight that is expected to last approximately five hours.
All customers that are serviced from its Eupora Substation, where a 161kv switch is being replaced, will be affected by this outage.

‘Decades of the
’60s Reunion’
planning meeting
A “Decades of the ’60s Reunion” for those who attended or worked at Eupora High School during the 1960-69 class years is being planned for later this year.
The first planning meeting is set for 10 a.m. April 9 at the EHS Alumni Room (Central Office Building). Volunteers are needed to represent the classes of 1961, 1962, 1967 and 1969 at this planning meeting.

Community Easter
Egg Hunt
First United Methodist Church and Eupora New Century Club will sponsor a Community Easter Egg Hunt on April 16.
Activities start at 10 a.m. at Gary Park.
Woman to Woman
Conference
Eupora Main Street Association will sponsor a Woman to Woman Conference from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. May 7 at the Eupora Civic Center.
Join us for a morning of fun and celebration of healthy, strong and empowered women. Enjoy a keynote address from Eupora native and best-selling author Dale Smith Thomas. Breakout speakers will be Kitty Dumas, Mandi Gladney Conrad and Traci Rico Holloway. The conference will feature shopping, health screenings, door prizes, refreshments and more.

Maben Public
Library hours
The Maben Public Library’s regular hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and noon-4:30 p.m.
AA meetings
AA meetings are being held each Monday and Friday at 221 Wood Circle on the former Wood College campus in Mathiston at 7 p.m. Call Tommy at 662-552-0966 for more info or questions.

The next regular meeting of the Webster County School Board is at 6 p.m. March 11 in the boardroom at the Central Office in Eupora.
The Webster County Board of Supervisors meets at 8:30 a.m. every first Monday, third Monday and last working day of the month at the courthouse in Walthall.
The Eupora Board of Aldermen meets at 6 p.m. every first Monday at Eupora City Hall.
The Maben Board of Aldermen meets at 5:30 p.m. every first Tuesday at Maben Town Hall.
The Mantee Board of Aldermen meets at 6 p.m. every first Monday at Mantee Village Hall.
The Mathiston Board of Aldermen meets at 6 p.m. every first Monday at Mathiston Town Hall.
The Walthall Board of Aldermen meets at 6:30 p.m. every first Monday at Walthall Village Hall.
