4-H Volunteers Needed
Adult volunteers are needed to assist with 4-H clubs. Adults must be at least 21 years of age, pass a background screening and complete an application, which will be sent to MSU for approval. To learn more about 4-H and volunteer opportunities, contact

Annual Christmas Concert
Choctaw County Junior High & High School Choirs will be performing their annual Christmas Concert on Thursday, 12/9/21, at 6:00 PM in Ty Cobb Auditorium. Admittance is $6.00 purchased through GoFan. The choirs are hosting a Chicken Dinner Fundraiser from 3:15 PM until 5:45 PM. You may eat in the cafeteria or take it home with you.
Christmas Party
All Ackerman Woodmen #373 members and families are invited to a Christmas Party at Mitchell Central Grill on Thursday night December 9th starting at 6:00 pm. Please RSVP at 285-7528 or 285-7021 so we will have a count.
4-H Shooting Sports Volunteers needed
Choctaw County 4-H is in need of adult volunteers for our Shooting Sports program. Certified volunteers are needed to train youth ages 8-18 in air rifle, archery and ages 10-18 in .22 rifle.
A shooting sports training will be held in Lamar County in January or February. In order to attend and be trained in rifle or archery, adults must first
