As spring break approaches, the Choctaw County Library System is gearing up for an exciting reading program designed to entertain young readers. The week-long event offers a journey through captivating books, accompanied by various activities for children of all ages.
The Choctaw County Library's Spring Reading Program kicks off on Monday, March 11 and runs through Friday, March 15 offering a range of activities and literary adventures to keep young minds active and inspired during the school break.
On Monday, March 11, join us for Preschool Storytime in the Ackerman Library at 10:30 and a Lego Build session in the Weir Library at 2:30. Tuesday, March 12 will feature Preschool Storytime in the Weir Library at 10am, Come-and-Go Lego Build Morning in the Ackerman Library, and a Giant Paint By Number at the Ackerman Library at 2pm. Wednesday, March 13, join us anytime between 9am and 4 pm at the Ackerman Library for Come & Go Crafts and Chalk the Walk. Thursday, March 14 will feature an afternoon of movies and board games in the Ackerman Library, and the Reading Program will end on Friday with a pizza and bingo party at 11 am, sponsored by the Friends of the Choctaw County Library System.
The Spring Break Reading Program will run during regular library hours, ensuring flexibility for families to participate at their convenience. Registration is open to all and can be completed at the Choctaw County Library.
