The 41st Annual Red Hills Festival will kick off on Friday night with the Friday Night Street under the lights on North Court Street.
The Friday Night Street Party will begin at 6:30 pm with Thirty Fingers and The Dylan Morgan Band will finish off the night.
The Carnival will be open on Friday night from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm and on Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. They will offer armbands and also sell individual tickets for the rides, inflatables, bungee jump and train.
The Red Hills Festival 5K Run/Walk will begin at 7:00 am in front of the Dome and the One Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 am. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 participants in each age group with a $200 cash prize to the Top Male Finisher and Top Female Finisher. The Top finisher for the Fun Run will win a $50 cash prize. Entry fee for the 5K Run/Walk is $25 or $35 on race day and $5 for the One Mile Fun Run. Registration form can be turned in at the Chamber of Commerce or The Studio Barre and Wellness. Winston Therapy Services and The Studio Barre and Wellness will be present to conduct race timing.
The Red Hills Festival Car Show will be on South Columbus in front of Taylor's Tool and Supply with Registration beginning at 8:00 am. Registration fee is $25 on event day and $20 for pre-registration. Persons can pre-register on Facebook on the Red Hills Car Show page or the Chamber page, Louisville, MS/Winston Chamber of Commerce.
Main Street will be full of a variety of arts and crafts vendors with jewelry, candles, home decor, clothes for adults and children, leather belts and accessories and so much more. There will also be entertainment the day of the festival from The Murphys, Naomi Taylor and Seth Power.
“We will have plenty for the kids on Saturday with the carnival, inflatables, train and pony rides! The food vendors will be set up on South Court Street with something for everyone,” stated Amy Hillyer, Winston County Chamber Director.
Booth fees are non-refundable, including cancellations. Submitting an application does not guarantee a booth. Booth preference can be requested but is not guaranteed.
2. Vendors can begin their booth set-up as early as 5 a.m. on Saturday morning. If you require extra time or assistance to set up, please contact us at amy@winstoncounty.com.
3. All items sold must be new. No used or flea market type items will be permitted.
4. No explosives of any kind will be permitted.
5. Vendors are responsible for their own tables, tents, chairs, extension cords, and all other supplies and equipment used for exhibits. Canopies and tents should be secured by weights. No stakes in the asphalt.
6. The Louisville/Winston County Chamber of Commerce and organizing committee is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Vendor booths must be manned at all times.
7. Tax envelopes will be distributed Saturday morning and should be turned in promptly at the close of the festival. Every vendor should collect 7% Mississippi sales tax as required by law. All checks should be made out to Louisville/Winston County Chamber of Commerce.
8. All booths closed at 3:00 p.m. and must be off the street by 5:00 p.m.
9. No motorized vehicles will be permitted inside the festival.
The Chamber is aiming to finalize more events and will announce those at a later date.

Red Hills Art
As part of the Annual Red Hills Festival, the annual Red Hills Art Association Competition is back after taking a hiatus due to Covid.
“We want all art lovers to come and buy art at our show now at the library,” stated Barbara Howell.
The art show will be open for the Red Hills Art Festival 10:00 am until 3:00pm. at the Winston County Library.
All the art has been awarded and many great pieces are for sale.
