Storytime was exciting Friday at the Maben Public Library. We had a special visitor along with his wife.
He spent quite a bit of time listening and talking to the children. They warmed up to him really fast and were busy telling him what they wanted for Christmas.
He was nice enough to sit on the rug where they could all get close to him. He kindly let them sit in his lap and most of them were not too shy for picture taking, most of them!
His name in case you haven't guessed yet was Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus. Afterward he even helped with a craft the children were busy doing. Craft time is their favorite. Jessica Jolly read books on the rug to those that had finished the craft early. We had a great group, around 12 children.
This Friday will be the last for this year but also the best. Come if you can at 10 a.m. to join us in lots of fun activities.
