The Louisville police department were called to four shootings within a week and the police department is working on making arrests in the cases.
On Tuesday night, November 9, 2021, there were shots fired near a gas station at the intersection of spring avenue and main street where one person was grazed by a bullet. On Thursday, November 11, shots were fired at a car wash on ivy avenue with the LPD expecting to make arrests in the case soon. Early Friday morning on November 12, lpd responded to another shots fired call with an injury. Officers found Keith Hickman shot and who was then taken to oktibbeha county hospital for surgery. On the same Friday, a second shooting happened at the intersection of mill street and spring avenue.
According to wcbi in an interview with Louisville police chief Sean Holdiness lpd are preparing to make arrests in the shootings.
