The Louisville Police Department, with the assistance of the Winston and Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office, has made multiple arrests stemming from the shootout that occurred at Abraham’s Convenience Store on West Main Street.
On November 10, 2021 , a call was received that multiple suspects were shooting at each other in the store parking lot. It was quickly learned that one individual was grazed in the head and being treated at the local hospital. The building occupied by 2 clerks and multiple occupied vehicles on the property were shot into also.
The investigation led to the arrest of Deanquis Phillips, and Isaac Eliand. Juvenile Yatavious Morris(17) was also arrested and charged as an adult. A second juvenile(name withheld) has also been charged in the incident due to his participation in the crime.
Total charges for all parties were:
- 5 counts of Aggravated Assault-Manifesting Extreme Indifference To Human Life
-1 count of Shooting Into Occupied Dwelling
Bonds for all 3 charged were set at $50,000 per charge.
