On Monday morning, November 22, Louisville Police Department was notified of a burglary at City Gun & Pawn, located on South Church Avenue.
The burglary was discovered by employees upon their arrival at the store that morning, and after an assessment it was discovered that approximately 18 firearms had been taken.
The stolen weapons, which included shotguns, hunting rifles and AR-15s, were valued at around $10K. The business has an alarm system, but it was bypassed by tearing a hole in the metal back wall.
With this incident involving a federal firearms licensed dealer, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) was contacted.
ATF agents along with the Winston County Sheriff's Office have been involved since the start of the investigation, which has led them to multiple juvenile suspects who will be charged.
The Investigations Division believes that the three known juveniles did not act alone and suspects are still being sought at this time.
Anyone with information on the stolen guns should call Louisville Police at 662-773- 3511.
