Greetings in the name of Jesus.
A word to the body of Christ. We are living in difficult times. We are in warfare all of the time (spiritual warfare). We as God-fearing people have an enemy and his name is Satan, but because we have God as our Father, we are victorious in Jesus our Lord.
There’s so much drug infestation around us now. People that God wants to deliver and set free, and Jesus died for them too. We need to be walking and living in the power of the Holy Ghost.
But many of our churches don’t know what the Holy Ghost is, and what it means to walk and minister in the power of the Holy Ghost. It’s a subject that’s not taught about in the churches because they don’t understand it. But because of that they don’t have the power in their churches to cast out demons, lay hands on the sick and have them healed.
We are in a generation that needs to be delivered. All the rehabs in the world can’t set a prisoner of drugs and alcohol free. It’s like putting a bandage on a sore that won’t get well.
Acts 19:2 says, “He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.”
Acts 1:8 says, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.”
We need to also hear what Jesus said about the Holy Ghost (written in red letters). John 20:22 says, “And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.” Some Bibles say Holy Spirit
Go back to John 14:16-18: “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
“Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
Now go to the 26th verse and it tells you what the Comforter is.
“But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”
Church, we need the power. So many are hurting and can’t get free. Jesus Christ is the answer to every problem! Amen and amen.
