Fame Church News had a wonderful week last week. I’m sure everyone enjoyed those few days of spring weather we had, but now back to winter because it is not quite over.
Last Sunday morning Bro. James taught us from the word of God. The subject was on Zechariah, and how to prepare and be prepared for the presence of God. The word says in Matthew 7, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened.”
So do we truly seek God? We should be reminded today that we must seek God to know him more. For if we seek him we shall find him. Prepare for the presence of God.
One preacher asked which farmer will receive the blessing of rain — the one who went out and prayed and prepared his fields, or the one who just prayed? Faith is action!
Please keep T.J. Avent and family in your prayers as well as his sister, Mrs. Edna Ruth Ward, who has also been sick and in the hospital. Also, the James Albert and Clemmie Whitaker family has been very sick. Please keep my mother-in-law, Mary Ann Crocker, in your prayers because she has not been doing good lately.
