In the midst of the Buffalo Bills Damar Hamlin cardiac arrest, I am reminded of the goodness of God and what it can mean for all people. During a time, it seemed the NFL had put God on the back burner and found themselves wrapped up in worldly pride. In all these things there are a few scriptures that came to my mind.
The first from Jeramiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and future.” Psalm 139:16, “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Matthew 18:19-20 “Again, truly I tell you if two of you agree on earth about anything you ask, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”
The United States has witnessed what Christians far and wide rest upon. God loves us dearly, (so much that He sent His Son to save us) Prayer works. And it's His will to give us a hope and future.
May these verses become your own, and the blessing of the Lord be with you.
