Dear church, my heart is heavy, there is so much discontent in the body of Christ.
Listen, we all don’t have the same gift, but we have the same Lord. I Corinthians 12:14 says, “For the body is not one member, but many.” The 20th verse says, “But now are they many members yet but one body.”
It goes on to say those members that seem to be more feeble are necessary. That means we can’t look down on any of the members of the body of Christ. Amen!
The Bible tells us in Matthew 24:12, “Andy because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
In our Sunday School less this Sunday, we were in Hosea where he was talking about backsliding Israel. Hosea 11:7 says, “And my people are bent to backsliding from me.”
I have never seen how so many Christians have lost the zeal of God. They don’t want to go to church, be around other Christians, they don’t want to pray, read God’s word or sell out for God, the one that sent his Son to die for us on Calvary.
We have laws that are being passed all the time saying we can kill babies, men can marry men and women can marry women. We can even change our gender, which means we are saying God made a mistake when he made you either a male or female.
Paul told us in I Corinthians 6;12, “All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.”
2 Corinthians 6:16, 17 says, “And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”
Now is not the time to get cool in the Lord. Let’s get on fire for Jesus!
