Dear friends, greetings in the name of our Lord. We know that in 2 Timothy 3:1, it says, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”
Friends, we are in perilous times, but it seems many are still going the way they were, not paying attention to anything that is going on around them.
Luke 12:56 says, “Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth: but how is it that ye do not discern this time?”
You know we can be like an emu and keep our head stuck in the sand but that’s not going to keep the word of God from coming to pass. If you knew a bad storm was coming up, you would get inside to stay safe. Well, a storm is coming; it’s a spiritual storm and the only way to be safe in this storm is to know the Lord Jesus as your Savior and Lord.
You know there have been people that have went their whole lifetime committing sins and think they have gotten away with it, but Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” There is a payday someday.
We are having a gospel singing this Saturday at 6 p.m. at Highways and Hedges with Alan Sibley and the Magnolia Ramblers. I do hope you can come and fellowship with us. We will have snacks afterwards.
