Next weekend, downtown Louisville will be filled laughter, good food and lots of fun as the 42nd annual Red Hills Festival kicks off with a Friday Night Street Party under the lights. The featured entertainment for the night will be local favorites, Jodie Ross and The Dukes of Country. The Dukes of Country is a high energy band that transforms into characters from different time periods with choreographed dancing, video screens and an awesome light show. Also, this year the committee is creating a Political Candidate Area in the Courthouse Annex parking lot. This area will have all the political candidates in one spot and will also have a stage and invite the candidates who have a booth to speak. Each candidate will have a specific time to speak during the day and times will be published before the festival. This is a great opportunity to talk to the candidates who want to represent Winston County.
There will also be the Red Hills Car Show, 5K Run, carnival, arts, and crafts vendors and more.
