Event: The Cross of Christ Five-Year Celebration

Five years ago the 12-stories high steel cross was constructed and raised with the support of Christians in Choctaw, Webster and surrounding counties.
The blessings of the Lord were upon this endeavor from the beginning, February 2017-April 2019, in raising funds, people praying, and publication and radio announcement support.
Churches including pastors and congregations, organizations and individuals gave of time, testimonies and donations to answer Christ’s call to build this memorial to honor our Lord and Savior.
The roadside cross is a reminder to all who travel by that our Redeemer’s blood was shed for our sins. The vision of the cross not only for Christians but for those who seek to know more about the saving grace of Jesus.
May the power of the Holy Spirit continue to use this roadside cross to announce to all that our communities depend on the Lord and his mercy and grace and our praise will continue forever. Please join us for the celebration service.
Times are listed for volunteer community choirs to rehearse. Parking will be available and led by leadership volunteers. Please bring lawn chairs. Some tents will be available or you may bring your own.
