JA Truck or Treat October 19
Junior Auxiliary of Louisville will host a Truck or Treat at the Louisville Coliseum on October 19 from 4-7pm. Children are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and join the fun! JA will hand out free tote bags, but supplies are limited. Each child should bring their own bag for treat-or-treating. This event is sponsored by the Junior Auxiliary Club of Louisville
Autumn Health Fest October 19
Warren Chapel Church of God in Christ will hold an Autumn Health Fest to promote a healthy lifestyle, prevent and manage diseases, and connect the community to resources. This event will be held Saturday, October 19 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at 300 Pond Avenue in Louisville. There will be a CPR Certification class held at 9 a.m. There will be health screeners, vendors, bouncers, food, face painting, and more. Then at 5:30 p.m., there will be a family movie night. Hilltop Athletics will hold its last community walk of the year. This community walk will be held on Saturday, October 19 at 4 p.m. at Trojan Field on the campus of Eiland Middle School. Breast Cancer Fundraiser October 19
On Saturday, October 19, the “More Than Just Pink Sisters Organization” will have their 4th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Banquet at Bridges/The Venue at 234 Byrd Ave., Philadelphia. The event will be from 6- 8PM. Dr. Nicole Powe of The Woman’s Institute will be the keynote speaker. The attire for the evening will be Semi Formal/Formal. The donation cost will be $25.00 per ticket. Proceeds from this fundraiser go towards helping out local breast cancer patients
