St. Jude Color Run Oct. 12
A 5K color run/1-mile walk benefiting St. Jude Childrenís Research Hospital will be Oct. 12 starting at 8 a.m. from Mathiston Park. The fundraiser is in memory of Chase Bailey, and in honor of Collins Chrismond and Griffen McCarter of Webster County. The $25 signup fee includes a T-shirt. Mathiston presents the Pumpkin & Ice Holiday Market from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 12. A St. Jude Color Run will start at 8 a.m. Forms are available at City Hall for both events. BBQ Cookoff and Cornhole Tournament Oct. 12
The Eupora Business Association will present a BBQ Cookoff and Cornhole Tournament on Oct. 12 with cash prizes awarded to the cookoff and tournament winners. The event will be held from 2-10 p.m. at Whites Creek Lake. Enjoy barbecue, cornhole matches, inflatables and live music by Style Entertainment.
Gospel Music Jubilee Saturday
The monthly Gospel Music Jubilee at the Gore Springs Community Center will be at 6 p.m. Oct. 12 featuring Second Chance and the Cuomo Sisters. Admission is $5.

The village of Walthall will host its annual Trade Day Celebration on Oct. 19. Webster County Public Library in Eupora is open four days each week to take care of many of your needs, such as sending and receiving faxes, copying, computer use, as well checking out the latest books for your reading pleasure. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m.- 5 p.m. Wednesday and noon- 6 p.m. Thursday. Storytime for PreK children is each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with Anita Russell.
