Barbara “Wheels” Eubanks went to heaven at her home on the 24th of April 2021. Her passing was due to heart failure.
Barbara, whom many thought was the heart and soul of her family, wore many hats throughout her life. She was a loving mother, cosmetologist, truck driver, homemaker, crafter, bartender, and devoted wife to her husband of forty-nine years, Ricky “Bud” Eubanks.
She is survived and cherished by her husband, Ricky Eubanks of Eupora, Mississippi; four children, Kimberly Buchanan of Indiana, Pennsylvania, James Stokes of Eupora Mississippi, Michele Garcia of Eupora, Mississippi, Michael Stokes of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two siblings, Robert Windows of Levittown, Pennsylvania and Carol Vlaszac of Indiana, Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Veronica Stokes, Jordan Paige Stokes, Tiffany L. Mitchell, Timothy R. Buchanan, Rikki Breeanne Garcia and Cristina Alicia Garcia; and one great grandchild, Jacob S. Buchanan.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Richard S. and Mary A. Strickland Windows; two siblings, Richard E. Windows and Dorothy J. Rocco; and one grandchild, Andrew James Stokes.
Remembrance and viewing were held at the Whitehill Freewill Baptist Church located at 3702 Clarkson Road, Eupora, Mississippi, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2021. Full serviced and interment were on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the Whitehill Freewill Baptist Church Memorial Fund.
Wise Reed Funeral Home was in charge of all services.
