East Central Community College Head Women’s Basketball Coach LaTaryl Williams has announced the signing of two new players who will join the Lady Warrior program in Fall 2021.

Recently signing National Letters of Intent to play basketball at ECCC in Decatur were:

  • Angela Middleton, a 5-9 Guard/Forward from Pontotoc High School. “Angela Middleton is the type of player you want to go into the trenches with,” noted Williams. “Her versatility and toughness allow her to be a miss-match problem for opposing defenses. We are excited to have her join our program.”

  • Myeisha Scott, a 6-1 Forward/Center from Provine High School in Jackson. “Myeisha Scott’s potential is through the roof,” Williams said. “She is a highly skilled basketball player who has the ability to expand her game here at ECCC. Scott will make an immediate impact for the Lady Warriors. We are thrilled to have Myeisha join our program.”

The two players will suit up for the Lady Warriors for the 2021-22 basketball season.

The 2020-21 edition of the Lady Warriors begins play Wednesday, Jan. 20, against Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference foe East Mississippi in Scooba.
