Students in Mrs. Busby and Mrs. Cagle's Kindergarten class at Ackerman Elementary School have been working extremely hard.  They are working with their teachers on skills, doing some independent work, reading books, getting in some computer time, and playing a game together as a class.  These students are doing amazing!

Annual ‘Runnin' n’ Strummin' set to start September 27

The 2nd Annual “Runnin' n’ Strummin' – Legion State Park Music Festival is fast approaching. The two-day event, scheduled for Friday Evening September 27th and all day and evening on Saturday, September 28 will be held in the shaded confines and the historic CCC Lodge of Legion State Park located on N. Columbus Avenue in Louisville.

Toddler dies after accidental drowning

A toddler who was found unresponsive in a family swimming pool in Eupora last week later died, according to local authorities.

The apparent accidental drowning on West Gould Avenue was reported to the 911 Center at 5:43 p.m. Sept. 1. Webster County Coroner Steve Wells identified the victim as 3-year-old Harli Grace Young.
