Parental involvement

5th grade teachers at Ackerman Elementary School hosted a parental involvement night where the parents were able to experience a day in the life of a 5th grader!  The students had a great time keeping their parents on task, and they had a great turnout

Toddler dies after accidental drowning

A toddler who was found unresponsive in a family swimming pool in Eupora last week later died, according to local authorities.

The apparent accidental drowning on West Gould Avenue was reported to the 911 Center at 5:43 p.m. Sept. 1. Webster County Coroner Steve Wells identified the victim as 3-year-old Harli Grace Young.



Cause helps people enjoy outdoor adventures

The Webster Countian is the founder of Forever Outdoors, a non-profit organization designed to promote organ donation awareness and help people who can’t enjoy the outdoors.
