Storytime features ‘Biscuit’s Halloween’

Children were greeted by Webster County Library’s automated pumpkin boy on Oct. 9. They loved making the “boy” talk and dance.

During storytime, Ms. Anita led everyone in the “Hello Song” and “5 Little Pumpkins” before they took part in two activities, “Fishing” and “One Little, Two Little, 3 Little Pumpkins” with stick pumpkins.





Livestock show

Caleb French, 8th grade student at Grace Christian School, participated in the livestock show at the Mississippi State Fair this past week. Caleb has worked diligently since Thursday transporting his animals to the state fair, caring for them, and showcasing them all weekend.

The Louisville Rotary Club speaker for July 17 was Officer Sean Holdiness, the newly appointed Chief of Police in Louisville. He gave a very interesting program on service. Holdiness spoke on military service, law enforcement service, service in the church and ways each person can use their talents to serve a community and others.
