Ribbon cutting slated for Weir Library Branch

Burn Ban for City of Louisville

Effective immediately! due to the extremely dry conditions the City of Louisville Fire Department is instituting a City Wide burn ban. No burn permits will be issued until further notice. This ban includes all outside burning except barbecue grills, and only includes the areas inside the City Limits of Louisville at this time.

Toddler dies after accidental drowning

A toddler who was found unresponsive in a family swimming pool in Eupora last week later died, according to local authorities.

The apparent accidental drowning on West Gould Avenue was reported to the 911 Center at 5:43 p.m. Sept. 1. Webster County Coroner Steve Wells identified the victim as 3-year-old Harli Grace Young.
