MEMA Preparing for Tropical Storm Barry

PEARL – The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency is coordinating preparations for Tropical Storm Barry that is expected to affect the state as early as Friday morning. A tropical storm watch and storm surge watch is also in effect for the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Courthouse Catastrophe: Emergency repairs approved for courthouse

The Winston County Board of Supervisors approved emergency repairs, cleanup and closing of the area behind and to the sides of the courthouse on Tuesday, July 16.

The emergency occurred when the brick veneer on the backside of the Winston County Courthouse collapsed around 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday.

Pilot Club installs officers

The Pilot Club of Louisville met on Thursday, June 13, 2019.  President Brandi Krajewski opened the meeting and Toni Nicholson-Jackson gave the devotional and prayer. 

The club pledged allegiance to the flag.  After the meal, Connie Estes Projects Coordinator presented reports from projects chairmen and Officer reports were given.
