The 2018 Choctaw County Christmas Parade will be Saturday, December 8th at 6 p.m. in downtown Ackerman. The theme is Choctaw County Christmas – New Hopes & New Beginnings. The Choctaw County Chamber of Commerce is excited to organize the area Christmas Parade this year.
The public is invited to attend a program on Chronic Wasting Disease in Deer will be presented Tuesday, December 4 at 6:00pm in the courtroom of the Choctaw County Courthouse in Ackerman. The Choctaw County Medical Foundation is actively involved in the completion of The Sensory Garden which will be located at the Choctaw County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A beautiful brick inlay will be near a double-sided water feature in the landscaped area.
