Approximately twelve-hundred K4 through 4th grade students were set to attend Sagety Town, at the Louisville Coliseum on Tuesday, October 9.

The skies over Louisville was the scene of a fierce dogfight between the Red Baron and the Raptor, this past Saturday at the fifth annual Wings Over Winston, as a large crowd was amazed by unimaginable airborne acrobatics.

Laken Holdiness, a senior at Eupora High School, chooses to be a blood donor during the EHS Student Council-sponsored blood drive held Thursday. EHS had 27 students register with United Blood Services to be donors.

The Winston County Library is hosting an author event Saturday, March 17th
from 10:00 - 12:00 featuring Noxapater native Tanya Jordan.  She will talk
about her debut novel, "Silent Tears" and will have some on hand for sell.  


Toy Drive held

 
 
The Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club of Mississippi hosted its annual Toy Drive in December of 2017. The gift bags were assembled and distributed December 16th and 17th. 



Read Across America

Children in classrooms across the country on Friday, March 2 took part in the National Read Across America Day as two classes of Fair Elementary students received a special visitor to read :Louisville Mayor Will Hill.

The Choctaw County Sheriff's Department filed 31 miscellaneous incident reports and 9 incident offense reports this week.
