Library storytime features ‘Hey Duck!’

On a beautiful Wednesday morning, Aug. 28, children arrived at Webster County Library eager to play, sing and listen to a story.

Ms. Anita led them in singing, “6 Little Ducks” and “Little Ducky Duddle.” The children enjoyed several activities, “ 5 Little Ducks,” with puppets and they waddled like ducks in a circle.


Storytime about pig with hiccups

Ms. Anita welcomed everyone for storytime at Webster County Library on Aug. 21 with the “Hello Song.”

The children had fun with several activities including a flannel board activity, ”5 Pigs So Squeaky Clean,” ”Piggy Jump from Corn to Corn,” “10 Little Piggies” (using stick puppets) and sang an original song, ”Pigs Roll In the Mud.”






Storytime features ‘Little Cricket’s Song’

On a beautiful spring Wednesday, May 8, children arrived at Webster County Library for storytime.

They played with puzzles, blocks and their friends before it was time for a story. Ms. Anita led them in singing “Hello Song,” “Lady Bug Fly,” “Insect Song” and “A Fly is on My Toe.”  They also went fishing with colored fish.




Storytime features ‘Baby Easter Bunny’

After a few weeks away from storytime, the children were eager to get back to singing and hearing a story April 17 at the Webster County Public Library.

They sang ”Hello Song,” used the flannel board for “Jelly Bean Countdown,” “Bunny Hop Song,” “5 Little Bunnies,” a finger play activity, and “Jesus Died and Rose Again.”
